Ancient Rome
When Ancient Rome thought of a Republic it was copied by a lot of different Countries. Pretty much part of the Government of the United States in from Rome's model. When the Roman's became free, they made up the a republic, a government in which citizens Roman's got to pick who they wanted to be the runner of Government. Many Years ago the world was ruled by Rome. From England to Africa and from Syria to Spain. One in four people on earth lived and died under Rome's Law. Julius Caesar was known as one of the most famous person in Rome. Julius joined the Army in 18 BC. He became Empire. He was he first Rome army leader to invade England. Julius grow up around a rich family. He was well educated, and he was very good at sports when he was a kid/teen.
After Julius Caesar was killed, Augustus Caesar found out that he was entitled to the throne. But before Augustus could gain the throne he was forced to fight a battle armies of Cleopatra VII and Mare Antony to see if he could really handle being empire. Cleopatra VII and Mare Antony armies wanted Julius Caesar dead for sure. Pax Romanna was the way that water was transformed. The Aqueducts was one of the greatest inventions in the world. It pretty much transformed under ground, to indoor plumbing. Just so where clear the Roman's did not invent the Roman Arch. The Roman Arches where used by Egyptians, Babylonians, and the Greeks. Ancient Roman's are the one that made up the Roman Arches. Soon after they came up with them many other places started to use them and they all thought that it was a very good idea t use them.
Colosseum was built in 72 A.D. It is and probably will be the largest amphitheater in the world. The Colosseum is where most of the tourist go when they are in Rome. Even though people love going to see the Colosseum it was used for human games. Man vs beast. People would go there and pay lots of money just to watch one of those games. Roman's where famous for their Roads. Not til after 2,000 years after they made the roads people started to use and make them too. Roman's mad so much money because of their roads. People and other countries would trade stuff for Roman's to make their towns roads. There is no doubt that Roman's where good at everything. They built roads, Temples, Aqueducts. The United States took samples of the Concrete of the breakwater in Italy’s Pozzuoli Bay, which dates back to 37 B.C.
